Teachers and staff, with the help of students, will promote an environment where no child prevents another student from learning or a teacher from teaching. Students are expected to be considerate of others, property, and themselves.
- All students will be courteous, kind, and respectful to others.
- Students should not touch another student’s or teacher’s personal property.
- Feelings and emotions should be expressed appropriately.
- Gossiping, profanity, name-calling, teasing, fighting, or bullying will not be tolerated.
- Students are expected to follow directions the first time.
- Students should arrive in their Dua period classroom on time.
- Students will be expected to pay for any damage to or loss of Madrasah property.
- Strictly NO PHONES / GADGETS are allowed during Madrasah hours.
Regarding phones: Farzando na nazdeek phones / gadgets hase toh Admin Office ma deposit thai jaase. Parents FINAL EXAMS BAAD office ma si haasil kari sakse. For emergencies, parents and students can communicate through the Admin Office or teachers.
Classroom Rules
Each teacher may have their own classroom rules and consequences and will communicate these expectations to students. Parents should contact the teacher if they have any questions regarding classroom rules.
Continued classroom disruptions or behavioral concerns will be referred to the Head Moallim.
Discipline Behavior Notification
A discipline behavior notification may be given for the following behaviors, as well as other inappropriate behavior as determined by the Head Moallim, Administration, or teacher:
- Skipping any period during Madrasah without permission.
- Leaving the Madrasah premises without teacher or Admin permission.
- Having an uncooperative attitude.
- Disregarding the direction of a teacher or Admin.
- Being dishonest or disrespectful.
- Bothering others, including pushing, hurting another student, fighting, or bullying of any type.
- Being habitually tardy.
- Disrupting the class.
- Using unacceptable language or swearing.
- Damaging Madrasah property.
- Other behavior considered inappropriate by a teacher, Admin, or the Head Moallim.
Consequences
Consequences may include, but are not necessarily applied in this order:
- Verbal warning
- Removal from the classroom to meet with the Head Moallim
- Email or phone call to parent
- Teacher-parent-student conference
- Teacher-parent-student-Head Moallim conference
- Suspension from academic and extracurricular activities, followed by a meeting with the parents, student, and Administration before readmission
